I've been playing Strats now for some 50 years and the stock saddle height screws were always somewhat in the way unless you found the right size screws and the string would tend to wonder around on the saddle causing return to pitch issues post trem use. These Highwood saddles solve all the problems with vintage style saddles, don't negatively change the sound, and still retain the classic look. What's not too like? Wish these had been available years ago.
These are great looking, with just enough of a “patina”, that they look great on my 50 year old Fender. No more painful strumming, and I think there is just a bit more sustain than the ones that were on before. Easy to adjust, and very clean-looking. A worthwhile upgrade that is also totally reversible. Highly recommended.
