This is an excellent design. The grub screws are recessed so they won't dig into your palms. The saddles themselves are very sturdy and very stable. In addition, the saddles impart that wonderful vintage stratocaster tone. This is one of the best upgrades I've ever applied to my strat.

Vintage-correct stamped-steel tone, elongated holes for unobstructed string pass-through, ingenious height screw mounting for palm-muting comfort worthy of kings, and available in the spacing I needed. I can’t imagine how these saddles could possibly be improved upon. My search for strat saddles has finally ended, and they will be accompanying me in the grave.

I'm so glad they exist now! I've used them ever since they came out a few years ago or some.
I won't make any claim this saddle is a game changer, tone changer, life changer, etc, i.e. things forumite kool-aid drinkers say,,,But this saddle addresses some real problems with traditional S saddles.
For starters the notch is just a good idea period: string has a defined stay - good for bend stability .
The slightly thicker metal used is also a good for a better attack and added sustain.
Then the extended saddle curve allows you to lower the height adjust screw yet the extra lower threaded hole keeps the screw support strong and allows the screw to be dropped flush or below the saddle even so you don't chew up your hands.
Pricey? Not really - so what,,this should be the standard S saddle for any strat.
