They aren’t here yet, but I know these saddles will be great because I absolutely love the last set I got. These will be on every strat I own from now on. Smooth feel, stable, sound great, look great, and the string grooves! Gotta have the grooves. These saddles are just perfect.

Amazing service/amazing product! The best saddle available, I have these on all my guitars of various string spacings (this one went on a Gotoh 510 2 1/8" spacing bridge). Made with custom screws by Highwood to fit the outer tracks in the Gotoh bridge plate; it doesn't get better than that!!

No More Heel Burn

I use a Strat for a Roland GR-30. Because of the 'heel burn' I adjusted my playing to avoid that. NO LONGER with these new saddles! Simple to replace my heel now has a place to rest and I don't have to think about nor be reminded. Would recommend to any Strat player.

Ok, so I ordered these on recommendation from a trusted friend. My initial reason was because of high saddle screws. While this is a marketing angle of the Highwoods that alone can be addressed by a) shorter screws and b) neck angle corrected by shimming. But it still is a sexy design to recess the screws while maintaining a vintage look. A couple of the saddle length screws wanted to cross thread upon re-installation. A gentler more calculated approach was needed with those than any Fender stamped saddles I've used. Maybe a finer thread, I don't know. The first guitar I tried them on had a generic non-Fender "vintage trem" I bought on line, but I ran into crowding and the high e saddle was slightly askew. I then switched the Highwoods to a guitar that has a Callaham top plate and block and everything seated great, so take note of the spacing of the intended guitar. I really like the string slots, the fine movement of height and length screws. I cannot say I hear a dramatic tonal difference, it just rings solid. I would and probably will use these again.
